With more than 60 physical stores, over 70 million online visits annually and online sales accounting for more than 25% of total revenue, Public offers a comprehensive Omni-Retail shopping experience, spanning a broad range of product categories and services.

Public Capital Partners, the Group’s investment arm, has invested more than €30 million in companies across Logistics and Last Mile (Box Now, Svuum), Fintech (Klarna, exclusive partnership with Revolut), After Sales (iRepair, Douleutaras) and Digital Entertainment (Bookvoice.gr).

At the same time, plans are already underway for additional investments in technology and in sectors that complement and enhance Public’s offering to consumers.

Public & public.gr Become the Complete Destination for the Whole Family

The launch of the pioneering “Public + home” concept marks the successful integration of MediaMarkt into Public and the brand’s expansion into the home living category. Home appliance sales already account for more than 20% of Public Group’s total revenue.

By fully integrating MediaMarkt’s 530 specialised employees and leveraging their valuable expertise, Public is creating a comprehensive formula for omnichannel shopping, across 13 new large concept stores throughout Greece as well as on Public.gr.

Including the new store concept, Public now operates a total of 30 stores offering small and large home appliances across Greece and Cyprus, reflecting the brand’s vision and commitment to delivering a more specialised offering in the home category.

Leading Customer-Centric Services

Consumers have embraced Public’s innovative and flexible payment options. Purchases with up to three interest-free instalments without a credit card, through the “Public Now, Pay Later” service with Klarna, are preferred by 35% of consumers across online and physical stores. Similarly, the recently launched partnership with Revolut is rapidly gaining consumer interest.

In delivery services, “Public Locker Pickup 24/7” through Box Now has achieved 25% penetration among products delivered to lockers. Meanwhile, Next Day Delivery for 100,000 products through Public.gr across mainland Greece, as well as Express Pickup 60’, generated more than 200,000 and 80,000 orders, respectively.

The After Sales category is also highly valued by consumers, with the number of repairs carried out at iRepair points located in more than 30 Public stores across Greece and Cyprus reaching 40,000. Customer satisfaction is also high, with iRepair offering repairs in as little as 20 minutes inside Public stores, achieving a Customer Satisfaction Index of over 92.

Public customers are also responding positively to the brand’s new offering in entertainment, with Audiobook downloads from Bookvoice.gr reaching 70,000.

Having established its position as the #1 Omni-Retail ecosystem, Public Group continues to consistently implement its successful strategy, bringing an ever-growing range of choices, services and products to consumers while enhancing their shopping experience across Greece and Cyprus.
