Strategic Transformation Drives Positive Momentum in 2025

Westnet recorded increased revenues, significant growth in gross profit and substantially lower operating expenses in the first half of 2025, confirming the positive momentum generated by the strategic changes implemented the previous year.

Specifically, revenue increased by 13%, gross profit rose by 21%, while operating expenses decreased by €500,000 compared with the corresponding period in 2024.

The company’s strategy for 2025 focuses on:

  • expanding its product portfolio in the white goods and air-conditioning segments,
  • developing its own brands, Kydos (TVs) and Omnys (home appliances),
  • expanding into new geographic markets, and
  • strengthening its B2B solutions and technical support, particularly in specialised markets such as hotels and pharmacies.

2024 was a year of strategic transformation for Westnet, marked by extensive changes to its commercial and organisational structures, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and increasing the value delivered to customers.

More specifically, the company:

  • implemented an extensive modernisation plan across its internal structures,
  • maintained its market share in Greece,
  • undertook significant IT projects with strategic partners,
  • strengthened its presence in the retail market,
  • developed its own brands, including Kydos and Omnys,
  • undertook cooling and heating projects across Greece using AUX products, and
  • significantly enhanced its technical support services.

Despite the investments and non-recurring costs associated with these changes, which resulted in negative EBITDA and profit before tax for 2024, the company maintained its international presence, with 23% of its revenue generated from international markets, while securing cash inflows from overseas customers to support its supply chain.

The positive performance in the first half of the year confirms that the changes implemented are delivering results. The company’s strategy is now focused on enhancing efficiency and steadily improving operating performance, with the aim of establishing a sustainable and competitive growth model.
