SUNLIGHT receives the “Above and Beyond Award” by NACCO Material Handling Group, one of the world’s largest lift truck manufacturers, in the framework of this year’s “Europe Supplier Awards”

NACCO Material Handling Group is the manufacturer of Hyster and Yale lift trucks with annual turnover reaching $2.7 billion. With 12 factories worldwide, NACCO sells 85,000 lift trucks per year.

SYSTEMS SUNLIGHT S.A., owned by Panos Germanos, was one of the four suppliers to receive an award by the American leading manufacturer NACCO Material Handling Group (NMHG) in the framework of this year’s “Europe Supplier Awards”. SYSTEMS SUNLIGHT stood out among NACCO’s suppliers from around the world and received the “Above and Beyond Award”.

Being purely customer-oriented, SYSTEMS SUNLIGHT became one of NMHG’s strategic partners in less than three years and achieved not only to effectively meet the needs but to exceed the expectations of this leading Group and demonstrate the potential of Greek business. More specifically, the company’s prompt support services and seamless commitment to competitiveness, quality, flexibility and integrated solutions to every emergent problem have contributed greatly to NMHG’s further empowerment and increase in market share.

During the award ceremony, the head of Nacco Group’s Global Supply Chain, Mr Michael Rosberg, said that “this prize is awarded to the supplier who proved his willingness and did everything possible to overcome all our expectations. Lift truck battery manufacturing is a very competitive sector and our partners at SYSTEMS SUNLIGHT helped us regain our market share thanks to their highly competitive quality product, but also through their active support towards our clients, whom they treated like their own. Thanks to its overall performance, SYSTEMS SUNLIGHT exceeded all our expectations and took our relationship to another level, beyond the ordinary limits.”

The award ceremony was attended by SUNLIGHT’s President and CEO Mr. V. Billis and Motive Power Batteries Sales Director Mr. L. Bisalas, who said: “This distinction by Nacco Material Handling Group is the result of a very important collaboration, thanks to which NMHG’s lift trucks Hyster and Yale carry Greek batteries. At the same time, this award constitutes a challenge for us, a motive to continue putting value on our work and our partnerships by developing, producing and exporting purely Greek expertise, products and solutions.”
