43.000 SUNLIGHT batteries have been installed in the Dubai Airport since 2006
Systems SUNLIGHT – owned by Panos Germanos – is further strengthening its presence in key international markets by undertaking a new major project for the International Airport of Dubai. Under this new agreement, worth 1 million euro, the company will supply the airport with sealed batteries (VRLA AGM) for uninterruptible power systems (UPS), an essential contribution to its smooth operation.
The new project to be undertaken by Systems SUNLIGHT further strengthens its long-term cooperation with the International Airport of Dubai, with the company having supplied the airport since 2006 with more than 43,000 batteries, of a total value that exceeds 4 million euro. Steadily focused on offering high quality services and investing in innovation, Systems SUNLIGHT has been the No1 choice of the International Airport of Dubai for the past 8 years.
The new strategic agreement of Systems SUNLIGHT, is yet another important step in its exports-oriented strategy, as it renews the company’s cooperation with the International Airport of Dubai, one of the most important factors of growth in the country’s economy that offers 250,000 direct and indirect jobs and contributes more than 22 billion USD to the country’s GDP, while serving more than 66 million passengers a year. At the same time it puts itself forward as a main candidate for the new large projects in Dubai with SUNLIGHT batteries, in view to the extension of the Dubai World Central Al Maktoum International Airport of a total worth of 32 billion USD.
The project is being implemented in cooperation with SITE TECHNOLOGIES, a strategic partner of SUNLIGHT in the Middle East, and one of the leading providers of integrated technological solutions in specialised sectors of industry.
