Olympia Group supports its employees’ children with free distance learning platform

November 25, 2020

Recognising the difficulties arising from the new reality brought on by the pandemic, the Olympia Group is acting responsibly, supporting the employees of its member companies. As part of its efforts, it is offering employees with children in Primary and Junior High School free subscriptions to the Brainy platform’s innovative e-learning services until the end of the year.

Brainy, the leading distance learning platform, covers the entire primary and junior high school curriculums, including theory, exercises and interactive quizzes. Designed by experts and teachers, it provides daily study support, thoroughly adapting the educational process to learners’ individual needs and empowering them to complete their daily schoolwork effectively and successfully.

Commenting on the support provided to Olympia Group employees through the Brainy platform, Vasilis Gavroglou, Olympia Group’s Human Resources Manager, stressed that “In these difficult times for all of us, our people continue to do their absolute best, so we are also making sure we support them in every possible way, capitalising on the potentials of technology. Our employees’ children will be able to enrich their learning experience through an integrated, interactive education programme that is available at any time and on any device.”

Specially designed to meet current needs, this initiative is an example of the benefits and support Olympia Group offers its employees. During the first weeks of the pandemic, a special hotline was launched to provide counselling, in partnership with the leading Greek provider Hellas EAP. Specialists are available for the Group’s employees 24 hours per day, to provide anonymous, confidential and unlimited support on a range of challenges, aiming to help them manage their day-to-day lives more effectively and maintain a high level of mental and physical health and well-being.
