Recognition for SYSTEMS SUNLIGHT at “Protagonists of the Greek Economy”

SYSTEMS SUNLIGHT gained an important recognition at the 3rd event “Protagonists of the Greek Economy 2016” which was organized by “Direction Business Solutions” under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy & Development and of SEV (Hellenic Federation of Enterprises). Specifically, SYSTEMS SUNLIGHT received the award “Protagonist Company in the area of extroversion” due to its international profile and orientation. The event took place on Monday 15 May at the Athens Concert Hall, Greece. Mr. V. Billis, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SUNLIGHT, accepted the award on behalf of the company.

Amid a very tough economic environment, SYSTEMS SUNLIGHT continues to innovate and also create new job positions with its ability as well as capacity to export really competitive products to all over the world, thus supporting at the same time the Greek economy.

Mr. V. Billis, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company, with the acceptance of the above award stated the following: «I would like to express my warmest gratitude to the organizers of the event and the committee of critics for this important recognition. SUNLIGHT is a purely Greek company which has managed, only within a few years, to be included among the largest internationally producers of energy storage systems, with exports at 84% of sales and to more than 100 countries. It is our commitment to continue growing, with respect to the environment and the societies in which we activate, generating value for both the company and our country. »

The event “Protagonists of the Greek Economy” is under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy & Development and of SEV. It awards companies which despite the tough economic circumstances have managed to not only survive but to also grow strong and remain profitable. The event was attended by more than 550 senior executives of the Greek corporate community whereas there was an exchange of views and proposals for the restart of the Greek economy and its return to growth.
