Olympia Group announces the conclusion of Mr. Karafotakis’ term in office as Vice-President on 30 September 2019, when he will continue as member of the Board.

Following this, Kostas Karafotakis stated, “I would like to thank the Board of Directors and everyone at the company for the wonderful journey and the end of an era. I am very proud to have worked for Olympia Group for the past 22 years, and to have contributed to the Group’s transformation into a Company of European standards with excellent organizational standards, corporate governance and business excellence. I consider that the vision our shareholder has inspired with his directors at all levels in taking decisions, was the driving force behind the development of the Group and forms the pledge for future success.”

The Olympia Group Board of Directors expresses its great appreciation to Kostas Karafotakis for his long-term service and mentions “We thank Kostas Karafotakis from our heart for his contribution, which was pivotal to the development and growth of the Olympia Group. Through the various positions he held during our long-term cooperation, he has contributed to the development and restructuring of the Group to an international investment Group with presence in 11 countries. His contribution will continue in the future as member of our Board of Directors”.
