The two companies launch their introduction into the mobile phone device market through an exclusive partnership
Athens, 2 July 2014– Westnet Distribution, member of Panos Germanos Group, and Lenovo, the largest PC manufacturer worldwide, announce their introduction into the mobile phone device market through an exclusive partnership which foresees the distribution of Lenovo mobile phone devices by Westnet.
Through the cooperation, Westnet Distribution expands into mobility products aiming to contribute substantially to the increase of Lenovo’s shares in the field of mobile phone devices, in which it will be entering in September.
This cooperation is the evolution of the relationship between the two companies, which began a year ago, in the field of mobility with the exclusive distribution of Lenovo tablets in the Greek market. The cooperation has worked effectively with Lenovo’s share in tablets being 13.3% for the first quarter of 2014, according to the latest IDC data. Westnet Distribution’s catalytic role in the increase of Lenovo’s share led to the second exclusive cooperation between the two companies and sealed the trust of a world leader in expertise and effectiveness towards Westnet Distribution.
LENOVO, the first Personal PC company in the world and third in smart connected devices enters the market of mobile phone devices.
